Puma unveils Morocco’s 2026 World Cup kit inspired by tradition

Puma has unveiled the new jersey that will be worn by Morocco national football team at the 2026 FIFA World Cup, with the design combining modern sportswear innovation and traditional cultural elements.

The tournament, set to take place across the United States, Mexico and Canada, will see Morocco showcase a kit that reflects both national identity and contemporary athletic performance.

According to the manufacturer, the jersey incorporates design features rooted in Morocco’s cultural heritage. Among the most prominent elements are intricate zellij patterns, inspired by the country’s historic mosaic art, as well as Tamazight lettering.

These details have been integrated into the overall design to create a distinctive visual identity on the pitch.

The kit retains Morocco’s traditional red and white colours, which remain central to its national symbolism. At the same time, it has been developed using modern sportswear technology aimed at ensuring players can perform at the highest level

Beyond its technical features, the jersey is positioned as an expression of national pride. Puma’s approach reflects an effort to balance heritage with a modern aesthetic, producing a kit that resonates with both players and supporters.

The patterns and lettering have been carefully arranged to produce a striking appearance, while maintaining a clear connection to Moroccan traditions. The result is a design that stands out visually but remains grounded in cultural significance.
