PSV Eindhoven v Club Bruges: probable line-ups for Champions League meeting

PSV Eindhoven host Club Bruges at the Philips Stadion on Wednesday, 4 November 2026, in the fourth matchday of the Champions League league phase.

Peter Bosz is expected to make few changes to the side that beat Willem II 7-0 at the weekend. Ivan Leko, meanwhile, is likely to retain much of his regular Club Bruges line-up, with Nicolo Tresoldi set to lead the attack.

Matej Kovar should start in goal for PSV, behind a defence of Sergino Dest, Lutsharel Geertruida, Armando Obispo and Filip Kostic. Kodai Sano and Mauro Junior are expected to provide the midfield balance, with Guus Til operating further forward.

Ivan Perisic and Ruben van Bommel are likely to play on the wings, while Sven Mijnans could be selected as the central striker. Ricardo Pepi, who has returned from injury, may begin on the bench.

PSV will be without several players for the match. Jerdy Schouten, Paul Wanner, Adamo Nagalo, Sami Ouaissa, Alassane Plea and Sam Lammers are either unavailable or have not recovered sufficiently to feature.

Club Bruges are also missing defender Joel Ordonez. Yann Sommer is expected to keep goal, with Kyriani Sabbe, Jorne Spileers, Brandon Mechele and either Bjorn Meijer or Joaquin Seys in defence.

Hugo Vetlesen and Hans Vanaken are the main midfield options, while Carlos Forbs, Jan Virgili and Nicolo Tresoldi are expected to provide the attacking threat.

Probable line-ups

PSV Eindhoven: Kovar – Dest, Geertruida, Obispo, Kostic – Sano, Mauro Junior – Perisic, Til, Van Bommel – Mijnans.

Club Bruges: Sommer – Sabbe, Spileers, Mechele, Seys – Potts, Vanaken – Forbs, Vetlesen, Virgili – Tresoldi.
