Premier League confirms Christmas schedule with minimum 60-hour gap between matches

The Premier League has confirmed its fixture schedule for Boxing Day and the days around New Year, with the matches in rounds 17, 18 and 19 remaining as published in September.

A minimum 60-hour gap between games has been built into the Christmas and New Year programme. The Premier League says the arrangement meets its commitments to clubs and reflects the need to manage the fixture schedule alongside the expanded European and international calendars.

The timetable is less demanding than in previous years, when teams sometimes played on 26 and 28 December with fewer than 48 hours between matches.

All times are Moscow time.
