Portugal and Spain have secured early qualification for the UEFA Nations League A quarter-finals after winning all four of their matches during the opening international window.
The first four matchdays of the group stage have now been completed. The top two teams in each group will progress to the quarter-finals, while the remaining positions will determine promotion, relegation and survival in League A.
The two strongest third-placed teams will remain in League A. The other two teams finishing third, along with the two best fourth-placed sides, will enter promotion/relegation play-offs. The two lowest-ranked fourth-placed teams will be relegated.
Group standings
France lead Group A1 after recording three wins and one draw for 10 points. Italy are second on seven points, followed by Belgium on six. Turkey remain bottom without a point.
The Netherlands currently top Group A2 with eight points, although Greece also have eight. Germany are third on five points, while Serbia are at the foot of the table with zero points.
Spain have already qualified from Group A3 with a perfect record of four victories. England are second on nine points, Croatia have three, and the Czech Republic are bottom without a point.
Portugal have also sealed early qualification from Group A4 after winning all four matches. Denmark are second on six points, while Wales have three. Norway are bottom on three points.
Where teams finish level on points in the same group, the UEFA Nations League uses their head-to-head record as the first priority for determining the standings.
The final two group-stage matchdays will take place between November 12 and 17.
