Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has resumed training with the Deportivo La Corogne first team after several weeks out with a knee injury, moving closer to a return to competitive action in the Spanish Liga.
The Gabon international completed his first exercises alongside the senior squad on Thursday, marking an important step in his recovery.
Aubameyang had been forced to take an extended period away from football while he rested and underwent intensive treatment. His absence deprived the Galician club of the experience, pace and finishing ability of its centre-forward during recent Liga fixtures.
His gradual return is a welcome boost for the coaching staff and the team’s attacking options. The striker will need several more training sessions to recover his full sharpness and match rhythm, but his presence is expected to strengthen Deportivo’s forward line as the club seeks greater consistency.
