Patrice Evra pays tribute to mother Juliette after Alzheimers battle

Former Manchester United and Juventus defender Patrice Evra has announced the death of his mother, Juliette, following her long fight with Alzheimer’s disease.

Evra shared an emotional video on social media in her memory, performing “Avant qu’elle parte” by Sexion d’Assaut while struggling to hold back tears.

His mother had endured several years of serious health difficulties, including the amputation of her left leg in 2010.
