Paris FC linked with Watford midfielder Imran Louza in Ligue 1 transfer rumour

Moroccan-French midfielder Imran Louza is being linked with a move from Championship side Watford to Ligue 1 club Paris FC.

Louza, 27, has a contract with Watford until 30 June 2028, meaning any move would be expected to involve a transfer fee rather than a free transfer. His current market value is listed at €14m.

The central midfielder joined Watford from Nantes in July 2021 for €10m and has since made 111 Championship appearances, scoring 15 goals and providing 21 assists. He spent part of the 2023-24 season on loan at Lorient before returning to the English club.

Paris FC are preparing for their first season in Ligue 1, while Louza has previous experience in France’s top flight from his time with Nantes and Lorient. He made 72 Ligue 1 appearances during his career, scoring 10 goals and registering eight assists.

The reported interest comes with Louza established as a Watford player under a long-term contract. No agreement or transfer fee has been confirmed, and the rumour currently represents a potential move rather than a completed deal.
