Panthrakikos have completed the signing of Nigeria winger Chilem Williams Ignatius from JK Tammeka on a free transfer, bringing the 19-year-old left-sided attacker to Greece.
Ignatius joined Panthrakikos on 13 August 2026 and has signed a contract running until 30 June 2027. He arrives after a spell with JK Tammeka, who compete in Estonia’s Premium Liiga, and will now continue his career in Greece’s Super League 2.
The move marks the next step in the young winger’s senior club career. Ignatius joined JK Tammeka from Divine Praise on 11 April 2025 before leaving the Estonian side for Panthrakikos 16 months later. His transfer history records the switch as a free move, with no fee attached to his departure.
Listed as a left winger, Ignatius offers Panthrakikos an attacking player capable of operating from the flank. He is 1.80m tall and has both feet listed as preferred, giving him the option of playing on either side of the attack or cutting inside from the left.
The Nigerian has made the move at the beginning of the 2026-27 season. His previous club was competing in the Eesti Karikas during the campaign, while his new team will compete in the second tier of Greek football. The change in league places him in a different domestic setting after his time in Estonia.
Ignatius was 18 when he joined JK Tammeka in April 2025 and turned 19 on 24 October 2025. His arrival at Panthrakikos comes with the club securing his services without a transfer fee and tying him to the Greek side through the end of June 2027.
The completed move takes Ignatius from JK Tammeka’s Premium Liiga environment to Panthrakikos in Super League 2.
