Nigerian striker Onyebuchi Solomon Ihejirika has joined Slovak side STK Samorin, completing a move that takes the 22-year-old into the country’s second tier. The forward links up with the II. Liga club ahead of the 2026-27 campaign.
Ihejirika’s arrival gives STK Samorin an additional option in attack, with the player primarily operating as a central striker. The deal was finalised on 25 July 2026, with the club moving to add to their attacking ranks before the new season gets under way.
Born in 2004, Ihejirika will be looking to establish himself in European league football with the Slovak outfit. His move to Samorin marks the latest step in his senior career and offers the Nigerian an opportunity to test himself in a competitive, physically demanding division.
STK Samorin compete in Slovakia’s II. Liga and have increasingly turned to young overseas players to bolster their squad. Ihejirika becomes one of the latest foreign recruits to sign for the club as they prepare their roster for the forthcoming season.
The transfer sees Ihejirika officially registered with STK Samorin from 25 July, making him eligible for selection as the II. Liga season approaches.
