Former Lokomotiv president Nikolai Naumov says he sees no reason for Monaco attacking midfielder Alexander Golovin to leave the club, despite speculation during the open summer transfer window that the Russia international could return to the Russian Premier League.
Naumov believes Golovin is settled at Monaco and that his situation at the Ligue 1 club is developing positively.
Golovin is currently in his ninth season with Monaco. The Russian has made 273 appearances for the club, scoring 40 goals and providing 48 assists.
