Nigerian youngster Amole joins Brommapojkarna on loan

Nigerian youth international Bidemi Amole has completed a loan move to Swedish side IF Brommapojkarna, with the club retaining an option to make the transfer permanent.

The agreement was finalised before the close of the transfer window, according to Brommapojkarna, although the announcement was delayed as the 18-year-old awaited clearance for his work permit.

Amole, who plays as a winger, arrives in Sweden after featuring for Nigeria’s youth setup and is regarded as a promising attacking talent. He was part of the Flying Eagles squad that competed at the Africa U-20 Cup of Nations 2025, further underlining his credentials on the international stage.

Speaking after the move was confirmed, Amole expressed enthusiasm about joining his new club and settling into the environment.

“What attracted me to BP was the community. My club recommended it, and when I checked it out myself it felt just right. Being here at Grimsta feels great. There’s a really good energy and everyone has been very welcoming,” Amole told the club’s official website.

The teenager also highlighted the support he has received since arriving, pointing to both the club’s structure and the squad as key factors in helping him adjust quickly.

“My first impression of the club was very positive. The management team pays great attention to detail and communicates well, which makes it easier for me to adapt. The players are a fantastic group, technically skilled and good people who have helped me to fit into the team quickly.

“What I’m most looking forward to this season is winning. It’s as simple as that, and enjoying the journey with this group.”

Brommapojkarna’s sporting director, Sean Sabetkar, welcomed the signing and suggested the club sees significant potential in the young Nigerian.

“Bidemi is a very interesting player who is useful on both wings, with really nice speed and a good functional technique. We look forward to seeing how he continues to develop with us,” Sabetkar stated.

The move represents an important step in Amole’s early career, offering him the opportunity to gain experience in European football while continuing his development. For Brommapojkarna, the deal reflects a strategy of investing in emerging talent with the potential for long-term growth.

With the season underway, attention will now turn to how quickly Amole can adapt to the demands of Swedish football and translate his promise into performances on the pitch.
