Nice’s deputy vice-president, Maurice Cohen, made the club’s position clear in comments that effectively close the chapter on Boga’s time on the French Riviera.
“They will not return to Nice, whether their purchase options are exercised or not,” he said, indicating that both the club and player have moved on after a turbulent period.
The 29-year-old, who represents the Ivory Coast national football team, left Nice on loan to Juventus following serious incidents involving supporters in December 2025.
