Nassim Hnid: Tunisia defender linked with Al-Ramtha SC move

Tunisian centre-back Nassim Hnid, currently without a club after leaving ES Sahel, is being linked with a move to Jordanian Pro League side Al-Ramtha SC.

The 29-year-old’s spell with ES Sahel ended on 1 July 2026, and he joined the Tunisian club from Bahrain’s Al-Muharraq on a free transfer in August 2024. Hnid is now available as a free agent, with Al-Ramtha emerging as a possible destination.

Hnid has played in Tunisia, Greece, Qatar, Bahrain, Morocco and Lithuania during his career. He has made 91 Ligue 1 appearances, along with 22 matches in Lithuania’s Toplyga and 13 in Qatar’s Stars League. The defender has also featured in the CAF Confederation Cup, Europa League and Europa Conference League qualifying.

His honours include the Lithuanian Super Cup, which he won with FK Zalgiris Vilnius in 2023. He also lifted the Qatari Stars Cup with Al-Sailiya during the 2021-22 season and the Tunisian Cup with CS Sfaxien in 2019.

Hnid previously joined AEK Athens from CS Sfaxien for €600,000 in 2020 before moving to Al-Sailiya on loan the following year. He remains unattached, with a move to Al-Ramtha yet to be confirmed.
