Tunisia forward Najd Dabbebi has joined ES Metlaoui on loan from fellow Ligue 1 side Stade Tunisien. The 20-year-old centre-forward, born in Tunis and standing at 1.87m, moves on a temporary deal for the 2026-27 season.
Dabbebi arrives in Metlaoui having spent last season on the books at Stade Tunisien, where he returned this summer following a loan spell with US Ben Guerdane. He is contracted to Stade Tunisien and is scheduled to go back to his parent club at the end of the campaign, with the move to ES Metlaoui confirmed as a straight loan.
Capable of leading the line through the middle, Dabbebi has already collected top-flight experience in Tunisia. Across league and cup competitions, he has made 16 senior appearances in domestic football, including outings in Ligue 1 and the Tunisian Cup, gaining minutes at both of his previous clubs.
His current market valuation stands at around €25,000, underlining his status as an emerging attacking option within the domestic game. ES Metlaoui have moved to bolster their forward department for the coming season, with Dabbebi adding height and competition in the centre-forward position.
Dabbebi’s loan to ES Metlaoui starts immediately and runs through to 30 June 2027, when he is due to return to Stade Tunisien at the end of the agreement.
