Tunisia defender Nader Ghandri, currently at Libyan champions Swehly, is being linked with a move to Egyptian Premier League side Pyramids FC.
The 31-year-old centre-back, who also holds French nationality, has emerged as a target after helping Swehly to the Libyan Premier League title in the 2025-26 season. His form in Libya has drawn interest from Pyramids as they look to strengthen their defensive options ahead of the new campaign.
Ghandri joined Swehly in February 2026 from Russian side Akhmat Grozny and has since become a key figure, featuring in the Libyan Premier League and contributing an assist across eight appearances. His current market valuation stands at around €900,000, a figure that is likely to shape any negotiations between the clubs.
Standing at 1.97m and operating primarily as a centre-back, Ghandri has built up a varied career across several leagues, including stints in Ligue 1, the Belgian Challenger Pro League and the Russian Premier Liga. He has also gained experience in continental competition, featuring in the CAF Confederation Cup earlier in his career.
There is no confirmed agreement between Swehly and Pyramids FC at this stage, and details of any prospective fee or contract length have not been disclosed. Ghandri remains under contract at Swehly, where he wears the number 4 shirt following his arrival on a free transfer earlier this year.
