Spanish-Moroccan winger Moustapha Zarouali has joined Naxara CD on a free transfer from Logrones Promesas in the Segunda Federacion Group II. The 21-year-old right-sided attacker has signed a contract with the La Rioja club until 30 June 2027.
Zarouali returns to Naxara after spending the end of last season on loan at the club from Logrones Promesas. His temporary spell was followed by a brief return to Logrones when the loan expired on 30 June 2026, but Naxara have now moved to secure him on a permanent basis ahead of the new campaign.
Born in Lodosa and eligible for both Spain and Morocco, Zarouali has been valued at around €25,000 and is primarily deployed as a right winger. Standing at 1.70m, he offers a wide attacking option in a division where both his previous and current clubs compete.
Zarouali first stepped into senior football with Logrones Promesas in 2023 after progressing from UD Logrones’ under-19 side. He featured in Segunda Federacion Group II last season, making 11 appearances and accumulating just over 300 minutes of action as he adjusted to regular senior football.
Having already experienced Naxara’s environment during his loan spell, Zarouali now joins the club on a full-time basis as they prepare for the 2026-27 Segunda Federacion campaign.
