Mourinho challenges Sevilla over Arda Guler incident: “Show me one photograph”

Real Madrid manager Jose Mourinho has responded to Sevilla’s complaints about the refereeing during their match, including an incident involving Arda Guler shortly before the midfielder scored.

Sevilla believe Guler should have been sent off after appearing to swing his arm at Peke, who went to ground. The visitors claimed the Real Madrid midfielder had struck Peke in the face with his elbow, but the referee did not consult VAR and did not show Guler even a yellow card.

Addressing the criticism, Mourinho said: “Show me at least one photograph.”

Real Madrid will travel to face Barcelona on 25 October. Before that, on 21 October, they will host RB Leipzig in the Champions League.
