Egypt winger Youssef Osama Nabih has joined Mosul SC from Zed FC, completing a move to the Iraq Stars League on 2 August 2026.
The 25-year-old left winger arrives at the Iraqi club after one season with Zed, having joined the Egyptian Premier League side from Pyramids FC in August 2025. No transfer fee has been disclosed for the move.
Nabih becomes Mosul’s latest attacking addition after building his career entirely in Egyptian football. He began at Enppi SC’s under-21 side before moving to Zamalek’s youth setup in 2017. His early senior experience came during loan spells with Aswan SC, where he played across two separate periods.
The Cairo-born player established himself at Zamalek and later moved to Pyramids FC in August 2023. He spent part of the 2024-25 campaign on loan at Ittihad Alex before returning to Pyramids at the end of the season. His move to Zed followed as a free transfer in August 2025.
Nabih’s previous club career includes 59 Egyptian Premier League appearances, in which he scored five goals and supplied six assists. He also recorded one goal in nine CAF Champions League appearances, while adding one goal and one assist in the Egypt Cup. His league-cup record includes one assist in 14 appearances, with another assist from 10 matches in the relegation play-off.
He joins Mosul with honours from his time at two of Egypt’s leading clubs. Nabih won the Egyptian title with Zamalek in the 2021-22 season and later lifted the Egypt Cup and CAF Champions League with Pyramids FC in the 2023-24 and 2024-25 campaigns respectively.
A right-footed attacker who operates from the left, Nabih gives Mosul a player with experience in domestic competition and African club football. His arrival also represents a move beyond Egypt for the first time in his recorded senior career, with Mosul becoming his first club outside the country.
Nabih’s current market value is listed at €75,000, while his highest recorded value was €500,000. He now begins the next stage of his career with Mosul SC in Iraq.
