Morocco face Egypt in 2026 Futsal Africa Cup of Nations semi-final: kick-off time and TV details

Morocco meet Egypt in Rabat on Monday, 19 October, with a place in the final of the 2026 Africa Cup of Nations futsal at stake.

The match at the Moulay-Abdellah Hall brings together the two most successful teams in the competition’s history. Morocco and Egypt have each won the tournament three times, although the hosts will start as favourites after a perfect group-stage campaign.

Kick-off is scheduled for 20h in Morocco and Algeria, 19h GMT, 21h in France and 22h in Egypt.

The match will be shown in Morocco on the public sports channel Arryadia. It will also be available to watch free of charge worldwide via CAF TV, the official YouTube channel of the Confederation of African Football. CAF has confirmed that all 16 matches at the tournament will be streamed internationally.

Coverage is also scheduled on beIN Sports 5 and Egypt’s ON Sport HD.

Morocco, the defending champions and tournament hosts, reached the semi-finals after winning all three of their Group A fixtures. Hicham Dguig’s side beat Algeria 4-0, Zambia 7-0 and Libya 6-0.

The Atlas Lions have scored 17 goals without conceding since the start of the competition. They secured their place in the last four after only two matches, following their emphatic victory over Zambia.

Egypt’s route through Group B was less straightforward. The Pharaohs began with victories against Tanzania and Mozambique, but missed out on top spot after losing 2-4 to Angola. Egypt had taken a 2-0 lead in that match before Angola completed the turnaround.

Despite that defeat, Egypt remain one of African futsal’s leading nations. They won the tournament in 1996, 2000 and 2004, and will now face a Morocco team seeking to extend its recent dominance.

Morocco have lifted the trophy at each of the past three editions, in 2016, 2020 and 2024. Victory against Egypt would take them a step closer to a fourth successive title.

The other semi-final will see Algeria make their first appearance in the last four of the competition against Angola. That match will also be played at the Moulay-Abdellah Hall, with kick-off at 17h.

According to the schedule for the 2026 Africa Cup of Nations futsal, the two semi-final winners will meet in the final on Wednesday, 21 October at 20h. The defeated teams will contest the third-place play-off at 17h.
