Moroccan centre-back Mohssine Rabja has joined KACM Marrakech on a free transfer from UAE side Al-Dhafra FC. The 32-year-old left-footed defender returns to Moroccan football after a spell in the UAE Pro League.
Rabja moves to the Botola Pro Inwi club with a market value of around €300,000 and adds experience and height to KACM’s back line, standing at 1.85m. The move marks another step in a career that has taken him between Morocco and the Middle East in recent seasons.
The Casablanca-born defender signed for Al-Dhafra in July 2025, also on a free transfer, after a stint with COD Meknes. He went on to make 22 league appearances in the UAE Pro League, adding international club experience to a CV largely built in Moroccan domestic competition.
Before heading abroad, Rabja established himself in the Botola Pro Inwi, amassing 77 league appearances and scoring seven goals, while also contributing three goals in six CAF Confederation Cup outings. That record underlines his threat from set pieces and comfort in high-stakes matches.
Rabja has spent most of his career in Morocco with clubs including MAS Fes, Kenitra, Rapide Oued Zem, RCA Zemamra, TAS Casablanca, Difaa El Jadida and Ittihad Tanger, regularly moving on free transfers and building a reputation as a reliable central defender.
The deal sees KACM Marrakech secure an experienced Moroccan centre-back on a free transfer ahead of the new campaign.
