Morocco forward Mohamed Bouldini, currently without a club, is being linked with a move to Academico Viseu in Portugal’s Liga Portugal.
The 30-year-old centre-forward became a free agent after leaving Deportivo La Coruna on 31 July, having returned to the Spanish club following a season-long loan at Granada. Bouldini joined Deportivo from Levante in August 2024 in a €300,000 transfer.
A move to Academico Viseu would represent a return to Portuguese football, where Bouldini previously played for Santa Clara, Coimbra and Oliveirense. He made 61 appearances in Liga Portugal 2, scoring 19 goals and providing four assists.
Bouldini also has extensive experience in Spain’s second tier, recording 24 goals and six assists in 127 appearances. He was part of the Levante side that won the Spanish second-tier title in 2024-25.
The forward began his career in Morocco with CR Bernoussi and Raja Casablanca before joining Ittihad Tanger, where he won the Moroccan championship in the 2017-18 season.
Academico Viseu have been identified as the club interested in Bouldini, but the move remains a rumour and there is no indication that an agreement has been reached. Bouldini’s current status gives him the option of joining a new club without a transfer fee, while his market value is listed at €400,000.
