Milan agree record €500m Adidas kit deal

Milan have agreed a €500m deal with Adidas to produce the club’s playing kit between 2028 and 2038, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport.

The agreement is worth €50m per season and will see Adidas replace Puma as Milan’s technical sponsor from the 2028-29 campaign.

It represents a significant increase on Milan’s existing arrangement with Puma. That contract was initially valued at €14m per season before rising to €30m per season from 2022.

The Adidas agreement will become the biggest technical sponsorship deal in Serie A, according to the report.

Juventus currently hold the league’s previous record after agreeing a 10-year contract worth €408m with Adidas last year. Inter’s deal with Nike, signed in 2023, provides the club with €30m per season over eight years.

The new partnership will also mark Adidas’ return as Milan’s kit manufacturer. The German company previously worked with the club in the early 1990s and again during Carlo Ancelotti’s time in charge in the early 2000s.
