“We will be playing against a very good team,” Mbappé told reporters after France’s qualification.

The France captain also expressed his excitement about facing the North African side in one of the tournament’s most anticipated knockout matches.

“We are very happy to be facing the Moroccan national team.”

Mbappé acknowledged the significance of the occasion but stressed that France’s focus remains firmly on reaching the semi-finals.

“We will do our best to continue our journey.”

The 27-year-old heads into the clash in outstanding form, having scored seven goals in the tournament to draw level with Lionel Messi in the race for the Golden Boot.
