Mario Stroeykens transfer: Galatasaray linked with Anderlecht midfielder

Mario Stroeykens, the Belgium and DR Congo attacking midfielder at RSC Anderlecht, is being linked with a move to Galatasaray.

The 21-year-old has emerged as a potential target for the Turkish club, with the rumour recorded on 18 August 2026. Stroeykens’ current market value is €4.5m, while his contract with Anderlecht runs until 30 June 2028.

Stroeykens has not made an appearance for Anderlecht so far this season, featuring in neither the Jupiler Pro League nor Europa League qualifying. The Belgian league campaign has reached two possible matches for the club, while Anderlecht have also played four possible Europa League qualifying games.

Born in Zellik, Stroeykens joined Anderlecht’s senior side from the club’s Under-21 team in January 2021. He has remained with the Belgian club since then and is listed as an attacking midfielder who prefers his right foot.

The reported interest comes with Stroeykens tied to Anderlecht for almost two more years, meaning any move to Galatasaray would involve the Turkish club agreeing terms with the Brussels side. No transfer fee or probability has been established for the proposed switch.

For now, Stroeykens remains an Anderlecht player, with his existing contract scheduled to expire at the end of June 2028.
