Manuel Neuer a doubt for Bayern Munich’s Champions League match against Arsenal

Manuel Neuer was absent as Bayern Munich faced RB Leipzig in the Bundesliga on Saturday, with sporting director Max Eberl commenting on the experienced goalkeeper’s condition.

Bild reported that a build-up of fluid could be linked to the physical demands on Neuer rather than an injury. However, the goalkeeper remains at risk of missing Bayern Munich’s Champions League meeting with Arsenal.

The match between Bayern Munich and Arsenal will be played on Wednesday, 21 October.
