Manchester United have begun work on a potential January transfer for Borussia Dortmund midfielder Felix Nmecha, according to Transfer News Live, citing TEAMtalk.
The 26-year-old Germany international remains on the radar of several leading Premier League clubs, but Manchester United are reported to be the side currently pursuing a deal.
Borussia Dortmund are seeking between €90m and €100m for Nmecha, who is under contract with the Bundesliga club until the middle of 2030. The German club’s asking price would make the midfielder one of the most expensive potential signings available in the January transfer window.
Nmecha’s market value is estimated at €65m by Transfermarkt, placing the reported asking price significantly above that figure.
The midfielder has scored twice in 10 appearances for Borussia Dortmund this season under manager Niko Kovac.
