Manchester United linked with Manchester City left-back Rayan Ait-Nouri

Rayan Ait-Nouri, who holds Algerian and French nationality, is the subject of a reported transfer link between Manchester City and Manchester United, with the Premier League clubs on either side of the proposed move.

The 25-year-old left-back is contracted to Manchester City until 30 June 2030, meaning any deal would involve the clubs negotiating a transfer rather than Ait-Nouri moving as a free agent. His market value is listed at €35m.

Ait-Nouri’s potential move would represent a switch between two Premier League rivals. Manchester United are the club named as his possible destination, while City remain his current employers.

The Algeria- and France-nationality defender’s age and position are the only player details available to frame the speculation, while no transfer fee, agreement or probability has been established. The rumour therefore remains unconfirmed.

Ait-Nouri is one of the players currently linked with a change of club in the Premier League, but there is no indication in the available information that negotiations have reached an advanced stage. Any transfer would also come with the existing long-term contract at City as a significant consideration.

For now, the proposed move remains a rumour, with Ait-Nouri still under contract at Manchester City through the end of June 2030.
