Manchester United are increasingly considering Julian Nagelsmann as a possible replacement for Michael Carrick, who could lose his position as manager in the near future.
Club executives held a meeting on Monday but decided against rushing into a final decision. Carrick may therefore take charge of another Manchester United training session on Tuesday.
According to journalist Paul Hirst, Nagelsmann is becoming the preferred candidate among figures at the club if Carrick is dismissed. Eddie Howe remains another popular option with senior officials.
Manchester United suffered a 3-0 home defeat by Bournemouth on Sunday. They are due to travel to face Chelsea next Saturday, 31 October.
