Paris Saint-Germain are exploring a move for France-Algeria winger Maghnes Akliouche from Monaco as they consider a high-profile attacking reinforcement within Ligue 1. The 24-year-old, who operates primarily from the right and prefers his left foot, is under contract in the Principality until 30 June 2028, meaning Monaco are in a strong position to demand a significant fee.
Akliouche’s current market valuation stands at around €50 million, setting a likely starting point for any negotiations between the French champions and Monaco. PSG have been monitoring attacking options across the division and view an in-league transfer as a way of adding proven domestic and European experience to their forward line.
Born in Tremblay-en-France and developed in Monaco’s academy, Akliouche has become an established first-team player since being promoted from the club’s youth ranks in 2022. He has made more than 100 Ligue 1 appearances for Monaco, contributing goals and assists on a consistent basis, and has also featured in the Champions League, adding further top-level experience that appeals to PSG’s recruitment plans.
Akliouche is currently involved at the 2026 World Cup, where he has already made an appearance, further underlining his growing international profile. Monaco, who moved him up from their U21 side four years ago, see him as one of the centrepieces of their project and are under no pressure to sell, with nearly two years still left on his deal.
