Los Angeles 2028: Reynald Pedros names 25-player Cote d’Ivoire squad

Cote d’Ivoire manager Reynald Pedros has selected a 25-player squad for the Elephantes’ second-round Olympic qualifying tie against the Democratic Republic of Congo.

The teams will meet in a two-legged contest as they compete for a place at the Los Angeles 2028 Olympic Games.

Three goalkeepers have been included in the squad: Niamien Ablan Monique, Amani Leslie and Konan Oceane.

The defensive options are Aicha Fofana, Gbehi Anastasie, Bimanta Yabre, Ada Daple, Cisse Matoba, Digbeu Priscillia and Yapo Kachi Aboa.

Pedros has named six midfielders for the tie. They are Ballo Salimata, Gnounoue Erika, Ruth Sery, Dagba Essie, Amani Kakounan and Brou Sopie.

The attacking group consists of N’Dri Grace, Abrogoua Akiebe, Kouassi Rosemonde, Elloh Rebecca, Ouedraogo Habibou, Nadja Meite, Fofana Karidja, Gnaly Estelle and N’Sira Safi Ouedraogo.
