Liverpool face Real Madrid and Barcelona competition for Mexico teenager Gilberto Mora

Tijuana midfielder Gilberto Mora is reluctant to move to England despite serious interest from Liverpool, according to Football Insider.

The 17-year-old Mexico international reportedly prefers to continue his career in Spain, with Real Madrid and Barcelona his favoured destinations. Both clubs are monitoring Mora’s progress.

Liverpool are understood to be keen on signing the teenager, but the report says Mora is not eager to make the move to the Premier League.

Tijuana could reportedly demand between 20m and 25m euros for their young star.

Mora has made seven appearances in the Mexican championship this season, scoring five goals and providing one assist.
