Lazio’s victory was ultimately decided by the single goal scored by Frattesi, but the hosts’ ability to preserve that advantage was equally important. Having taken the lead through the combination of Tavares and Frattesi, Lazio then kept the contest under control and denied Genoa the chance to recover.
