Barcelona president Joan Laporta has praised his club’s women’s team after their 7-0 victory over Real Madrid in the Spanish league.
The result leaves Barcelona top of the women’s league with 18 points. Madrid and Real are both on 13 points.
Laporta also highlighted the record attendance for a Spanish women’s league match, with 40,533 spectators watching the game.
