Watford have signed Senegal international Krepin Diatta on a two-year contract after the 27-year-old became a free agent following the end of his time at AS Monaco in July.
The Championship club have strengthened their right side with a player who featured at this summer’s World Cup for the Lions of Teranga and brings extensive experience at the highest level.
Diatta’s consistency on the international stage is expected to provide an immediate boost for the Hornets as they compete in the English second tier.
The Senegalese player offers considerable versatility, with the ability to operate anywhere on the right flank, including in defence, midfield or attack.
