Tunisia winger Khalil Ayari has joined USL Dunkerque from Paris Saint-Germain on loan, completing a move to the Ligue 2 club until 30 June 2027.
The 21-year-old, who plays on the right wing and favours his left foot, becomes a Dunkerque player after signing for PSG from Tunisian club Stade Tunisien earlier in the summer. PSG paid €1.5m for Ayari on 1 July before sending him to France’s second tier.
Ayari was born in Tunis and came through the ranks at St. Tunisien U19 before moving into the senior side in 2023. He helped Stade Tunisien win the Tunisian Cup in the 2023-24 season, the first recorded major honour of his career.
His move to PSG followed a loan spell with Paris SG U23 during the 2025-26 campaign. He returned to Stade Tunisien at the end of that temporary spell before making the permanent switch to the Paris club.
Ayari has made 19 Ligue 1 appearances during his career, scoring twice. He has also featured in the Ligue I Pro Playoff, Tunisian Cup, CAF Confederation Cup and Premier League International Cup U21, while his record includes a further goal in the Tunisian Super Cup.
The winger stands 1.74m tall and has represented Tunisia, with his most recent international tournament record showing no appearances at the 2026 World Cup.
Dunkerque finished the transfer by taking Ayari on loan from PSG on 4 August 2026, with the player’s agreement running through to the end of June 2027.
