Egypt defender Khaled Ahmed has rejoined El Gouna on loan from Enppi SC, sealing a season-long move back to the Red Sea club in the Egyptian Premier League.
The 22-year-old left-back, who prefers to operate on the left side of defence, has signed on a temporary deal running until 30 June 2027. The switch keeps him in the top flight and reunites him with a team where he has already established himself as a regular starter during a previous spell.
Ahmed heads back to El Gouna with a market value of €250,000, underlining his growing status after breaking through at Enppi. He originally moved from Enppi’s youth ranks into the senior squad in 2024 before first joining El Gouna on loan in August 2025, a stint that was formally concluded at the end of the 2025-26 season when he returned to his parent club.
During his time in the Premier League, Ahmed has accumulated over 20 appearances, contributing two assists and featuring heavily across league and cup competitions. He has also added a goal in relegation play-off action, underlining his willingness to support attacks from full-back while maintaining his defensive responsibilities.
Born on 5 August 2003, Ahmed will now look to continue his development in familiar surroundings, with El Gouna again providing him consistent minutes at first-team level. The loan agreement means he remains contracted to Enppi beyond this season, with his temporary stay at El Gouna due to end on 30 June 2027.
