Kevin De Bruyne reaches 201 career goals with Belgium double against Turkey

Kevin De Bruyne scored twice for Belgium against Turkey to reach 201 goals in senior football for club and country.

The Napoli midfielder opened the scoring in the 10th minute during Friday’s Nations League 2027 group-stage meeting at Maurice Dufrasne Stadium. He evaded a Turkey defender before sending a low finish into the bottom-left corner of the net.

De Bruyne struck again after the interval, scoring his second goal of the match and his 40th for Belgium in the 60th minute. The 35-year-old unleashed a powerful effort from outside the penalty area which the Turkey goalkeeper was unable to keep out.

“ A moment of magic from Kevin De Bruyne! An astonishing goal to put Belgium in front!” posted beIN SPORTS after his first goal.

According to Bleacher Report, the double took De Bruyne’s career tally to 201 goals. His total includes 40 for Belgium, alongside 108 during his time with Manchester City.

He has also scored 20 goals for Wolfsburg, 17 for Genk, 10 for Werder Bremen and six for current club Napoli.

B/R Football had previously listed his career total as 200, with 39 international goals, before De Bruyne’s second goal against Turkey took him to the landmark figure.
