Kelvin Ehibhatiomhan, the England- and Nigeria-eligible winger currently at Reading, is being linked with a move to Danish side AC Horsens as the League One club weigh up interest in the 23-year-old. The Superliga outfit are understood to be exploring a deal for the left-sided attacker, who is contracted at Reading until 30 June 2027.
Born in Benin City on 23 April 2003, Ehibhatiomhan has established himself in the first-team picture at Reading since returning to the club in July 2023. Nominally a left winger but right-footed, he has also been used across the front line, adding versatility to a side competing in the third tier of English football. His current market valuation stands at around €450,000, a figure that would make him a relatively accessible target for a club operating in Denmark’s top flight.
AC Horsens’ interest comes with the Danish club looking to add height and physical presence in wide attacking areas; Ehibhatiomhan’s 1.91m frame and experience in the English game are viewed as potential assets in the Superliga. For Reading, any decision is complicated by the length of his current deal, which gives the club a strong contractual position should negotiations move forward.
No fee has yet been agreed and discussions remain at an exploratory stage, but Ehibhatiomhan’s long-term contract at Reading means the Berkshire side are under no immediate pressure to sell as they consider the Danish approach.
