Moise Kean will miss Como’s meeting with Roma after failing to recover from the tibia injury he suffered while on international duty, according to TuttoMercatoWeb.
The injury also kept the forward out of Italy’s most recent match, against Turkey. Kean has endured a difficult start since joining Como, making only one start so far this season in the 2-1 victory over Parma. He is still waiting to score his first goal for the club.
Greece international Anastasios Douvikas is expected to replace him in the starting line-up. The forward has started five of Como’s six matches this season and has scored against Udinese and Napoli in the league, as well as against Leipzig in the Champions League.
Como are also expected to officially confirm Douvikas’ contract extension until 2030 soon.
