England striker Kane, who plays for Bayern Munich, has described receiving the Golden Boot as an honour after a year marked by goals, trophies and significant milestones.
In a social media post on today, Kane thanked the staff and players of both the England national team and Bayern Munich, as well as his family, friends and supporters.
“Where do I even begin? It was a night I will never forget. It is a great honour to receive the Golden Boot after a season of countless goals, championship trophies, and special milestones,” he wrote.
“Thank you to all the staff and teammates of the England national team and Bayern Munich, and also to my family, friends, and everyone who supported me – I could not have achieved all of this without your support.
“Thank you to everyone who sent me blessings and posted congratulatory messages on social media. I cherish every single one. This night will forever remain in my memory.”
