Kaizer Chiefs have stepped up their interest in Stellenbosch FC winger Faiz Abrahams and are exploring a possible swap deal for the highly rated youngster after his proposed move to Orlando Pirates collapsed.
SoccerBeat reports that Chiefs, who had initially tabled an offer for Langelihle Phili, have now turned their attention to Abrahams as they look to strengthen their wide options before the end of the Betway Premiership transfer window.
Abrahams’ future has come into sharper focus after he rejected a loan move to Durban City, a decision that has left him open to a permanent transfer away from Stellenbosch FC. Chiefs are understood to be assessing whether a player-exchange package could persuade the Winelands club to do business.
