Manchester United forward Joshua Zirkzee has become a transfer target for another Italian club, with Fiorentina reportedly identifying the Netherlands international as a priority signing, according to Football Italia.
The Serie A side are considering the 25-year-old as a possible replacement for Moise Kean, who is determined to move to Como. Fiorentina’s interest in Zirkzee adds another Italian club to the list of teams linked with the Manchester United player.
Reports previously indicated that Napoli and Juventus were also interested in the forward. Fiorentina have now joined those clubs in monitoring Zirkzee’s situation, with the Netherlands international potentially in line for a return to Italian football.
Zirkzee moved to England after making his name in Serie A with Bologna. His previous experience in Italy is understood to be part of the background to the interest from Fiorentina, as the club assess their options in attack.
The striker’s estimated transfer value is €20m, according to Transfermarkt. That figure provides an indication of the fee that could be involved if a move away from Manchester United were to develop, although the reports do not state that an agreement has been reached between any of the clubs.
