Malaysia-Ghana centre-forward Jordan Mintah has rejoined Terengganu FC from Kuching City on a free transfer. The 30-year-old has signed a deal running until 30 June 2027 with the Super League club he previously represented earlier in his career.
Mintah, who was born in Kumasi and stands at 1.82m, switches back to Terengganu after spending the recent part of his career with Kuching City. He originally left Terengganu for Kuching in March 2024 and now makes the move in the opposite direction without a transfer fee.
The right-footed striker is no stranger to Malaysian football, having built a substantial record in the Super League with 60 appearances and 28 goals, averaging a goal every 136 minutes. He has also featured in domestic cup competitions and the AFC Cup, adding further goals and assists at regional level.
Before his time in Malaysia, Mintah made his name in the Philippines with Kaya FC, where he became top goalscorer in the 2018-19 Philippines Football League season with 31 goals. That scoring form paved the way for his move to Terengganu’s second team and then on to Kuala Lumpur, where he first experienced Malaysian top-flight football.
Mintah’s current market value is listed at €250,000 and his arrival strengthens Terengganu’s attacking options for the Super League and cup campaigns over the next season. The forward’s contract at the club runs until the summer of 2027 following his free transfer from Kuching City.
