Barcelona goalkeeper Joan Garcia is close to returning from injury but remains a doubt for the meeting with Getafe on 10 October.
The 25-year-old sustained the injury during a match against Racing in the middle of September. He missed Barcelona’s final game before the international break and was not included in the Spain squad.
According to Sport, Garcia is considered likely to be available for the upcoming fixture against Getafe. However, a decision on whether he will play has not yet been made.
Barcelona head coach Hansi Flick wants his first-choice goalkeeper to be fully fit for a demanding run of matches. The Catalan club are due to face Galatasaray, Real Betis, Paris Saint-Germain and Real Madrid.
