Ivory Coast forward Yan Diomande scored a spectacular goal as Real Madrid extended their winning run with a 3-0 victory over Racing Santander in La Liga.
The Ivorian found the net in the 36th minute, producing a superb half-volley into the top corner to complete a dominant first-half display by the visitors.
Diomande’s goal came after Kylian Mbappe and Jude Bellingham had put Real in control, helping the Spanish giants secure a fourth consecutive league victory.
The result, achieved in Sunday’s 11th-round fixture, also extended Real’s winning streak in all competitions to five matches as they continued their pursuit of league leaders Barcelona.
Real made a strong start and took the lead in the 11th minute after Matteo Prati brought down Mbappe inside the penalty area.
The French forward stepped up to convert the resulting spot-kick, giving the visitors an early advantage.
Bellingham doubled the lead 10 minutes later with an impressive individual effort.
The England midfielder collected the ball around halfway, drove towards goal and lifted it over the advancing goalkeeper before calmly finishing into an unguarded net.
Diomande then delivered the moment of the match.
After Racing failed to clear a corner effectively, the Ivorian connected with the loose ball and sent a powerful half-volley into the top corner in the 36th minute.
His effort gave Real a commanding 3-0 lead before the interval and further highlighted his growing influence in the side.
Real continued to threaten after the break, with Mbappe coming close to adding another goal in the 59th minute. The forward produced a curling effort from the edge of the penalty area, but his attempt struck the post.
Racing attempted to find a way back into the contest and were awarded a penalty late in the game.
However, the decision was overturned following a review by the video assistant referee (VAR). The officials determined that the ball had deflected off midfielder Aurelien Tchouameni’s boot before striking his hand, with the contact judged accidental.
Real maintained their three-goal advantage to claim another important victory.
The result means Mourinho’s side have now won their last five matches across all competitions, including their 2-1 victory over Barcelona in the previous round of La Liga.
Their last defeat came against city rivals Atletico Madrid on 20 September, and they have lost only twice this season.
