Inter came from behind to beat Bologna, securing a sixth victory in their opening seven Serie A matches under Romanian manager Cristian Chivu.
The result leaves Inter with 19 points after seven games. They have dropped points only once, in their meeting with Roma.
It is just the fourth time Inter have reached that total after seven matches since the three-points-for-a-win system was introduced in the 1994-95 season.
The Milan club previously achieved the feat in 1997-98, 2002-03 and 2017-18. Those remain Inter’s best starts after the opening seven rounds of Serie A.
Inter’s next fixture is against a struggling Fiorentina.
