Moroccan-Belgian winger Ilyas Lefrancq has left Patro Eisden and joined the unattached ranks, bringing his time with the Challenger Pro League club to an end.
The 22-year-old’s departure was completed on 3 September 2026. No transfer fee has been recorded for the move, and Lefrancq’s next club has not been specified.
Lefrancq spent the 2025-26 season with Patro Eisden after joining the club from AEK Athens B on a free transfer. He made one appearance in the Challenger Pro League during his time with the Belgian side, playing 12 minutes.
He featured once in the 2026-27 campaign before leaving, making a brief substitute appearance without scoring or providing an assist. Lefrancq did not start a match during that period and recorded no disciplinary cards.
The left winger began his senior career at OH Leuven, progressing through the club’s youth structure before moving to OH Leuven U23. He then joined KV Mechelen in July 2022, switching to AEK Athens B the following season.
Lefrancq is a left-footed attacking player who operates on the left side of the forward line. Born in Uccle, Belgium, he holds Moroccan and Belgian nationality.
His departure leaves Patro Eisden without a player who had been part of its attacking options after arriving from Greece the previous summer. Lefrancq is now available to continue his career elsewhere following his exit from the Challenger Pro League outfit.
The move marks the latest change in a playing career that has included spells in Belgium and Greece. He joined each of KV Mechelen, AEK Athens B and Patro Eisden without a recorded transfer fee.
Lefrancq’s transfer from Patro Eisden to an unattached status was completed on 3 September 2026.
