Guinean centre-forward Ibrahima Coulibaly has joined Al-Shamal SC from Al-Khor SC, sealing a move that takes him into the Qatar Stars League. The 19-year-old attacker has signed a contract with Al-Shamal running until 30 June 2030.
Coulibaly makes the switch after a spell with Al-Khor in the Qatari Second Division, stepping up to the country’s top flight as part of Al-Shamal’s latest recruitment drive. His transfer continues a rapid rise for the forward, whose current market value is listed at €100,000.
The move marks a second change of club in 2026 for Coulibaly. He arrived at Al-Khor earlier in the year from Racing 92’s U19 side, where he had been developing at youth level before heading to Qatar. His performances there earned him the opportunity to join Al-Shamal and compete in the Stars League.
Born on 1 March 2007, Coulibaly has been deployed primarily as a centre-forward and will add another option in the attacking line for his new side. The long-term deal through to 2030 underlines Al-Shamal’s commitment to integrating him into their plans over the coming seasons.
Coulibaly’s transfer from Al-Khor to Al-Shamal SC is effective immediately, with the Guinean forward now registered as a Stars League player under a four-year contract.
