English-Nigerian midfielder Tim Iroegbunam has been linked with a move from Everton to Hull City, with the proposed switch reported on 4 August 2026.
The 23-year-old central midfielder remains an Everton player and has a contract with the Premier League club until 30 June 2027. The possible move has not been confirmed by either club.
Iroegbunam joined Everton from Aston Villa in July 2024 in a transfer reported at €10.7m. His current market value is listed at €18m, placing the potential deal in the context of a player whose valuation has increased since arriving at Goodison Park.
He has made 59 Premier League appearances in his career, contributing four assists, and has also played 32 times in the Championship, scoring twice. Born in Birmingham, Iroegbunam developed through West Bromwich Albion’s youth system before moving to Aston Villa’s academy in 2021.
He spent the 2022-23 season on loan at Championship side Queens Park Rangers before returning to Villa, where he made the move to Everton the following summer.
Iroegbunam was part of the England Under-19 side that won the European Under-19 Championship in 2022. He is currently listed as an Everton player, while the reported interest from fellow English club Hull City remains at the rumour stage.
