‘He remains 100% focused’– Jackson agent responds to Bayern decision

Agent of Nicolas Jackson, Diomansy Kamara has moved to calm speculation over the striker’s future after Bayern Munich confirmed they will not take up their option to make his loan move permanent.

The Bundesliga champions had a €65 million purchase clause in their agreement for the Senegal international but have now decided against activating it, effectively ending his stay in Germany beyond this season.

Jackson joined Bayern on loan from Chelsea for the 2025–26 campaign in a deal worth €16.5 million, after falling out of favour at Stamford Bridge.

While he has not been a regular starter, he has still managed to contribute 10 goals in 28 appearances across all competitions.

Despite Bayern’s decision, Kamara insists the situation should not be viewed negatively and has stressed that the player remains fully focused on the remainder of the season.

Speaking on Instagram Story, Kamara highlighted Jackson’s achievements and current mindset:

“Nicolas Jackson is having an excellent season: 28 matches played, 10 goals. African champion, German champion, and also qualified for the cup final.

“Bayern Munich did not exercise their option to buy, and Nico remains 100% focused on the Champions League semi-final against PSG, a very important moment for him and for the club.

“Bayern is a great institution, and the most important thing is to win as many trophies as possible before the end of the season.”

Kamara’s message reflects an attempt to keep attention on Jackson’s performances rather than his uncertain club future, with Bayern still competing for silverware on multiple fronts.

One of the key remaining fixtures is the Champions League semi-final against Paris Saint-Germain, which represents a major opportunity for Jackson to end his loan spell on a high note.

The first leg of the tie is expected to be a defining moment in Bayern’s season.

From the player’s perspective, the focus now is on finishing the campaign strongly and adding to what has already been a season of mixed but notable success.

Alongside his goal contributions, Jackson has also been part of a squad that has secured domestic honours and reached a cup final.

Kamara’s comments suggest that discussions over the striker’s next step will be put on hold until the end of the season, with no immediate concern over Bayern’s decision.

The agent’s intervention also appears aimed at protecting Jackson’s momentum, ensuring that attention remains on his performances rather than transfer speculation.

With Chelsea expected to reassess the situation in the summer, the striker’s long-term future remains open.

For now, Kamara’s stance is clear: the priority is not the transfer decision, but the remaining objectives still to be achieved in the current campaign.

As the season approaches its decisive stage, Jackson remains involved in key fixtures, with his agent confident that the striker can continue to deliver on the biggest stage before any final decisions are made.
